Since the O'Hare Modernization Plan took effect in 2013 there has been a dramatic increase of flights concentrated over many Chicagoland neighborhoods, resulting in an unprecedented number of noise complaints.
FAiR (Fair Allocation in Runways) Non Profit is the leading citizen run organization who is working to improve the quality of life in Chicagoland and northwest Indiana neighborhoods negatively impacted by aviation changes. FAiR will continue to support and champion new immediate and long term solutions to mitigate and abate noise and air pollution generated by current and future airport operations.

This app connects to City of Chicago's 311 official noise complaint form and all complaints logged through this site will thereby be registered with the city. 265,511 complaints have been filed in January 2018 to date and 4,967,342 in 2016 per CDA.
The most significantly impacted cities include Wood Dale, Bensenville, Elk Grove Village, Park Ridge, Norridge, Schiller Park, Chicago, River Grove, Schaumburg, Lincolnwood, West Chicago, and Medinah.
